Dilaveri park was brightened by children’s smiles cheers for the “Treasure Hunt”!

On the 29th of May, the European project BeSecure – FeelSecure (BSFS) transformed the “Dilaveri Park” into a treasure island for children and parents, in the context of the “Sea Days 2022”.

Hundreds of participants had fun in an adventure full of puzzles, surprises, gifts and lots of dancing. Among the surprises was the favorite mascot of the “Sea Days”, Zack the Shark who was there to dance and get photographed with our little friends

During the game the BSFS project presented the innovative pilot application “CURiM” and turned it into a game with the aim to raise awareness on issues related to urban safety and promote collective responsibility.

All participants received certificates for their attendance and giveaways, while five of the children who managed to find the required items were drawn 5 tablets as a prize!

After the end of the game and the handing of the prizes, there was a party with music and DJ and of course lots of playing in the playground of Dilaveri Park, which is one of the 8 playgrounds that were restored, as part of the spatial interventions of the BeSecure – FeelSecure (BSFS) project.

The action was implemented with the support of Europe Direct Piraeus.

The Mayor of Piraeus Ioannis Moralis, in a statement, stressed:

«Dilaveri Park was transformed into a “Lost Treasure Island” and was filled with children and happy voices. It was another innovative action, in the context of the Sea Days events, organized by Be Secure – Feel Secure.

The children solved the riddles, danced, had fun, were photographed with the mascot of the “Sea Days” Zack the shark and won rich prizes. Such events fill us with joy and motivate us for the conduction of more suchlike events in the future. Congratulations to everybody!”
