A great opportunity to showcase the unique character of BeSecure-FeelSecure (BSFS) project in European and International level.
Organised and convened by UN-Habitat, the World Urban Forum (WUF) is the foremost international gathering for exchanging views and experiences on sustainable urbanisation in all its ramifications.
This 11th session gathered 17000 participants (in-person & online) from 155 countries.
The BSFS project was represented in WUF by our project partner Ms. Eszter Karácsony from the European Forum for Urban Security – Efus.
Ms. Karácsony presented the spatial interventions implemented in the city of Piraeus under the bsfs project in the framework of the panel discussion ” Safer cities for all, with all – How European initiatives and projects are fostering innovative participatory schemes for security of public space”. The event was co-organised by our fellow UIA urban security project ToNite from the city of Torino.
During the conference’s days BSFS giveaways and brochures were distributed in order to inform WUFs public on the BSFS actions and interventions.
